Time, space, the thing, being, nothingness, truth were topics of interest that were repeated throughout Martin Heidegger‘s entire path of thought. So living time, inhabiting space, building things, seeking the meaning of being and unhiding the truth are actions that answer the main questions that the German thinker posed. Now we are clear that the experience of Being is not a mere present without a retroactive why or a projective why. On the contrary, the adventure of Being is a perpetual historical factual journey in a continuous projection towards the future (tomorrow, the day after tomorrow) from a past (yesterday). The objective would then be to check if time is a possible horizon to understand Being and extract the truth from it.

But… And the space, and the place? Let’s say that the space where we have been thrown is the world. Not a world understood as the totality of reality or the set of all things, but as that which occurs, that which happens. There are no completely independent things that the subject uses or does not use, as traditional thought has defended until now, but rather there is an intimate unity of both aspects (subject + object), and this was called being-in-the-world and outside. of the world: nothingness, emptiness. Brilliant trick!!

 

Was this theoretical tangle the crème de la crème of the intellectuality of the new Basque sculpture? Who would doubt, given what has been seen, Heidegger-guru? And the transcendental would manifest itself in a return to the earth that accentuates the value of the sensible and the formal.
